Our super bowl party was fun even though I did not see much of the game. We played Wii bowling with the Grandkids during the first quarter and spent most of the time between the 2nd and fourth quarter eating and watching Lightning McQueen with Paxton and the boys. I guess I am not much of a spoorts fan but sure love being with the grandkids. Paxton Loves Lightning McQueen and I guess I do too.

Well it has been a while since I posted on my blog. I cannot remember the last time I was on here but it has been a long long time. Not much has happened this last month. Mostly worrying about mom and if she is going to get better. A lot of traveling to Mayfield sometimes two times in one week. Elayne has helped out a lot and Sheri spent some time down in Mayfield around Martin Luther Kings Holiday.
I have not had any really exsciting trips for work either. Mostly I have either been home at work or to Mayfield.
I was sick with a Sinus Infection for about 10 days - 2 weeks. Boy am I glad that is over with. I still have a lingering cough, but other than that feel pretty good. I still cannot run very long, but then again after the age of 50 I could not run very well too.
I was thinking on my ride home from SLC on the Bus taht I would post something but the internet is so slow I waited until I got home. I have three seminars lined up this month in Ogden, Richfield and Price. It is training for the Local Health Departments (LHD) and the District Engineers (DE) on how to do a sanitary survey using our Electronic Sanitary Survey Program and data base. On Mar 1 - 5 I will e in St. George Utah at the annual Rural Water Users Association Conference. I am taking 4 fourwheelers down there and will probly ride MOnday, Tues, Wednesday and maybe Friday nights. It will not be long ride from 3:30 - dark. IT nwill be fun though.
We are looking forward to our trip to see the kids in Texas and a week at Orlando in the middle of March. This is our one big trip that we allow for time tegether each year.
Well the candy is about gone, my back is hurting sitting at a computer all day and then at home tonight so I think I will go down and turn on the fireplace and watdh a western movie for a change then go to bed. Wednesday is my Tele commute day and I am meeting people at Mapleton City to go look at a well and tank. The well has a odor problem we think Hydrogen Sulfide (rotten eggs smell) nasty stuff. We will pull some samples and then find out exactly what Mapleton City has and then decide what to do with the fixes for the well.
A simple solution is to oxidize out the H2S with chlorine or it could be the have to install air scrubbers which will cost big bucks. I am hoping for the easy fix with chlorine.
Maybe next time I will have a picture or to to add.
